WHAT IN THE WORLD IS A GLOBAL MOBILITY CONCIERGE??

Did you know that in Hebrew there is no word for "overwhelm"? It’s true! My take on this is that if you know anything about Israelis, you know that Israelis just get sh*t done. After all, we’ve had some experience navigating the globe.

This is how I roll too. There’s nothing that brings me more satisfaction than taking a huge list of all the possible nightmares that can stem from an individual or company’s relocation and turning them into wins.

I am often asked what it means to be a “global mobility concierge”. When I introduce myself, people often ask me:

“Are you an attorney Do you know an attorney who could help us?”

“Can you help me with all aspects of my relocation process, including the legal headaches?”

And “Is Passages a one-stop relocation shop?”

The answer to all of these and many other questions is a resounding YES!

I am an attorney, and we have many other attorneys and professionals working for and with the combined teams at Passages Relocation and e-Council Inc. in varying capacities.

Over many years of working and building personal and professional connections, experience, and expertise in this complex industry, our companies have established relationships with top-notch strategic partners and key vendors that can satisfy pretty much any global mobility-related requirements from simple to complicated legal issues, business matters, real estate concerns and the physical moving process.

If international moves to the U.S. are involved, an immigration visa will likely be required before the person(s) being moved can take up residence in the U.S. or Canada (or elsewhere for that matter), and thereby start working at his/her designated position.

In addition to our expert immigration attorneys, a well-crafted professional business plan will be essential to support the visa petition, and it is important that this business plan be designed not only to reflect the business’s actual plans and forecasted financial projections, but also to meet applicable USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Service), requirements, which differ from typical business plan elements. There are many other considerations as well, such as general tax planning issues, estate-related issues, health and other types of insurance coverages, in many cases buying, moving and/or establishing the business in the U.S., and the list goes on – and on – and on.
