How does USCIS see real estate investing as a path for a visa?

Traditional Real Estate Investing

  • Passive and not visa-friendly
  • Traditional REI is frowned upon by USCIS and is not considered “at-risk”, which is a requirement for most visas.
  • If you invest in enough doors to qualify for a visa, you will need to report any purchases/sales as transactions will be generally deemed as “material changes”.
